Good morning, everyone. And welcome to the Bed Head Chronicles. Today I want to talk about what to do when you are extremely motivated and want to make great things happen in your life. But you're surrounded by people that don't. They don't share that same passion, they don't share that same motivation.
What do you do? Tell you the first thing you don't do, is lose your own motivation. Okay. I need you to rise higher and you can invite them to come join you where you are, but if they don't want to, you keep plugging away and going after your dreams. We become the five people that we spend the most time with in our lives.
So look around you and make sure that the majority of your time you're spending with people that lift you higher. That are inspired and motivated themselves that want to achieve great things. If you're not surrounded by people with that, find people that want the same things you do that are inspired and motivated and want to work hard and want to achieve great things and the people in your life, if you live with them and they don't agree with your work ethic or, or your passion or the things that you're doing.
You can just continue to be an example and don't stop because of the things that they're saying, but dig even deeper. And when they witness you, your hard work, your commitment, your consistency, and they see you achieve your ultimate dreams. You will be the inspiration for them to finally get started as well.
There's this visual and it's of a bald eagle. And it's flying up high in the sky and a crow, a black crow comes and starts nipping at its wings. The only birds that try to attack other birds are black crows. So the bald eagles flying and the black crow is clipping at its wings. And what the eagle does is it just starts rising higher and higher and higher until it gets to an elevation where the crow can no longer breathe and the crow falls off.
That's what you need to do. Don't let people that are telling you that you can't do it, or it's not possible, or why you working so hard. Don't let them drop you down to where they are. Rise above, rise above and soon they're going to stop clipping at your wings and you're going to sail forward and achieve all the things that you dream of.
Rise higher. So if people around you or trying to de-motivate, you don't listen, that's not who you are. You can try and inspire them through your actions. You can invite them to join you where you are, but you keep plugging away. Because if you want to achieve great things, you want to be the champion of your own life.
You're going to have to work hard. You're going to have to dig deep. You're going to have to show commitment. You're going to have to show discipline. It's what's required.
Having an amazing day.
